Sightseeing
Who can't resist this 7th Wonder of the Natural World? There are no words for how special this is. Sometimes weather permitting so check before. You can queue for long periods in peak season but it's worth the wait. I've been man times and always so breathtaking.

The V & A has to be the hottest tourist spot. Stunning malls for high-end shopping. Fantastic eateries around the marina as well as all the usual chain restaurants. Robben Island tours, lots of visitor attractions. The Wheel is very popular. Everyone staying with us should go the V & A. Short Uber ride on 25 Rand or 15 Minute walk.

One of the best day trips you will ever do. Visit boulders beach en route through Simons Town, our Navy's pride and joy. See the African Penguins. Then visit Cape of Good Hope. All in a day. Car hire needed or tours can be arranged.

De Waterkant is so centrally located, Uber is cheap.
If you are just spending a few days in Cape Town then Uber is far cheaper than using a hire car. It's super cheap and safe. Getting around during the day is perfectly safe though its a city like any other so always be cautious.

The people of Cape Town are super friendly and mostly speak english. Two Other Main languages Xhosa and Afrikaans, but also many other African lanquages.

Try the traditional Restaurants in the old Town
Many tourists tend to head straight to the V & A. However, the old town offers an interesting blend of international and local cuisine. Soak up the vibe in Long Street. The prices are half. The food is fantastic.

SUN PROTECTION
Cape Town has a very high sunburn, high most of the time. Even in winter. I always recommend nothing less than 30spf at the minimum. Keep applying and be very careful. I see every week very pink tourists that regret not following advice. :) Max Protection for children. I advise T-shirts in the pool as the cool breeze can be deceiving on the roof.

Family Friendly
Our culture makes us naturally super family-friendly and kids are welcome anywhere. Remember that smoking is still permitted in some restaurants and public spaces so ask for non-smoking. Mostly in the season, everything is outside. From the Aquarium, to boat trips, cinemas and so many fun days out. Cape Town is great for families.
