Châteaudouble is a lovely village with a breathtaking view. During the summer there is a large square up the village where everyone gathers around cheap and good rosé (8€ per bottle!) and amazing toasted bread with olive spread, anchovies, and other Provence specialties. Good outdoors concerts every Friday night in July and August!

Châteaudouble
Châteaudouble is a lovely village with a breathtaking view. During the summer there is a large square up the village where everyone gathers around cheap and good rosé (8€ per bottle!) and amazing toasted bread with olive spread, anchovies, and other Provence specialties. Good outdoors concerts every Friday night in July and August!
Saint Tropez is one hour away from our home and you can go there to check out the touristy Côte d'Azur or go to fancy clubs. Be careful, it gets extremely busy during the summer!

Draguignan is the biggest town nearby so you can find supermarkets, restaurants, etc. there. On Wednesdays and Saturdays in the morning there is a large outdoor farmers market where you can find the best food and lots of very typical Provence stuff.
