Mayan Ruins and relevant places
I would recommend to get there early to carry out the walk while is not as warm, you could take swimming gear and go for a splash right below the ruins after the walk along piramids.

The Coba site is massive and hosts the only Mayan piramid in the region that one is still allowed to climb up (and down.. which is the bit that requires most attention). There are bike rentals and rickshaws available at the entrance, take a fair amount of water, a few snacks, plenty of sun cream, shades and a hat. The ideal would be to visit the near by cenote caves right after the ruin tour. These are located at about 7 min drive south from the site (signs on the road).

Amazing Mayan site that offers a deck walk to the Sian Kaan reserve passing thru the jungle and mangrove, you will spot lots of tropical species, there's an amazing tower that offers a birds eye view of the Muyil Lagoons, you can embark there deeper into Sian Kaan exploring the Mayan Canals and Mayan Customs Check points.. Yes they had customs - tax officers as well, Muyil was a key port for supplies coming from down south with direction to Coba and Chichen Itza.
