Hai San Pho serves delicious and affordable seafood dishes right next to the beach. The staff is friendly and professional and will guide you to the aquarium to pick your choice of seafood. After that, they will weigh the seafood and note down how you would like it cooked and inform you of the total price. Now, all you have to do is wait till the dishes arrive and then eat, eat, eat!

Sightseeing

The Marble Mountains are the main attraction in Da Nang. If you drive a scooter there, you will be chatted up by Vietnamese ladies, who will talk to you while driving by your side. They just want to get you to park in the more expensive parking. Don’t get fooled. The best spot is just outside the main cave.

When you walk on the main beach you will notice a tall, white statue in a distance. That’s the Lady Buddha, which guards the shores of Da Nang and looks after the local fishermen. It’s the tallest statue in Vietnam and is part of the Son Tra Linh Ungh Pagoda complex, which is a great place to visit.

Walking along Han River Bank or rent a xich lo go around town Spend your last night by the charming Han River, the soul of the city! Try going for a walk along the river bank, enjoy the chill breeze and lively atmosphere of Da Nang by night. Or you can hop on a "Xích lô" (vietnamese way of calling cyclos), which can be found along the Bach Dang and Tran Phu street and ask for a ride around the town. Today, the Xích lô is only used to bring people to tourist destinations, but it was one of the primary transports in Vietnam before motorbikes and cars came to the scene. Despite this, the xich lo remains an iconic symbol of Vietnam.

From the fishing village, you keep driving forward and you will reach your next stop, Linh Ung Pagoda up the hill. This is where a stunning, white, 67-meter tall Lady Buddha stands and looks out of Da Nang Bay. She is said to protect the fishermen and local residents from storms and give them safe passage. Further up the steep winding roads and you’ll see a sign pointing to a lighthouse. Follow it to get to one of the oldest trees you’ve ever seen. In a small clearing, a majestic Banyan tree towers over visitors and spreads an aura of peace. Take in the special ambiance of this place before continuing your journey. Insider's stip: Wear long clothes to show respect
