CONSTANTIA WINE ROUTE

My particular favourite is Groot Constantia where you can buy the dessert wine Napoleon apparently drank while on on St Helena.
These gardens are well worth a visit (https://www.sanbi.org/gardens/kirstenbosch/). The gardens typically have art exhibitions and local concerts.
This is my preferred access point onto Table Mountain - up Skeleton Gorge, across to Maclears Beacon and over to the cable car at the front of the mountain - about a 4 hour stiff, but well marked hike (take water, warm clothes and wear good shoes).
