Things we like to do here.
The Willow Beach launch site is about 45 mins from our house. We typically reserve kayaks ($30 per day) from a local outfitter (let us know if you would like their contact info). They will bring them to you, set them up, and take them away. It’s an easy kayak to the cove (about 30-40mins). Perfect for beginners and experienced kayakers. The cove turns emerald green around 12-2pm. We like to launch around 8 or 9 am kayak a bit, eat some snacks or lunch. What to bring: towels, waterproof phone case (plan for things to get wet), small cooler/backpack, lots of sunscreen and plenty of water (we typically bring about 4-5 bottles each, dry clothes.

Probably one of the most popular hikes in Kingman. The trail head is about 10 mins from the house. You can choose to do the full loop with is about 8 miles. It’s an easy to moderate hike. Start early and download the All Trails app to plan your route.
