Short but still steep hike to a locals swimming hole. Be careful with small children as it's a river with numerous swimming holes and steep sections. Nice views but can be quite busy on hot summer days

4mile trail, easy/moderate along a river to a waterfall. Several spots to cool off and most appropriate for people with limited hiking ability/ younger children as many other hikes in the area are quite a bit more strenuous.

drive up to beautiful sterling gorge just a couple miles outside of Stowe. MANY hiking options from the parking areas but the falls are a nice, short option. Well maintained but a few steep sections.

2.5m trail at the top of the mountain road. Quite popular on busy days. Drive up the notch, enjoy the drive and do this moderate hike. For those desiring more miles it connects to the long trail and you can go as long as you like!

If you drive over to the underhill side of the mtn, there are numerous other options as well.
