One of the topspot for going a night out. Several bars and restaurants in a very old part of the city. A must see as far as I am concerned. About 10 min. walking from the appartment, enjoy a drink or dinner at Soestdijk, where member of the Royal Family have worked while they were studying. Or have a drink in the "Wolthoorn". There is plenty more to go for a drink or a meal.

Very nice place, in fact, my favourite hangout in Groningen. Very friendly staff, good food, very relaxed place to have a drink till early in the morning.

Without any doubt the most beautiful restaurant in Groningen, located at the Waagplein in the former Tax Office of the city. The building is phenomenal, cosy and impressive. And it is an excellent place for lunch, dinner or just of cup of coffee during a shopping session.

A very beautiful street and you can't miss it when going to explore the city.
