The Pumpkinseed Hill Farm is certainly known for it's pumpkins, various squash, gourds, decorative Indian corn, and corn maze in October. This farm also alternates with the Valley Farm for Strawberries and Blueberries from mid-June through July.

At the Walnut Tree Hill Farm you will be able to cut your own Christmas Tree for the month before Christmas. At this farm is also a Winery, open year around on weekends. In the summer you can enjoy your wine and some refreshments while listening to live music on Sunday afternoons.

State Parks with Beaches
On the other side of the railroad tracks at the Housatonic River there are picnic areas, swimming, boating and hiking trails to explore - only 3.5 miles from Pleasant Valley Trails.

Silver Sands State Park is on Long Island Sound in Milford. It is the closest Salt Water beach form Pleasant Valley trails at about 15.5 miles, a 25 minute drive.
