The Playhouse at McConnellstown is an all-volunteer theatre company, incorporated as Go West Productions in the early 1980s. The company regularly performs in its own seventy-seven seat theatre housed in an historic 1872 church in the village of McConnellstown, PA, five miles south of Huntingdon on Route 26.

The 349-acre Warriors Path State Park lies very near the famous path used by the Iroquois in raids and wars with the Cherokees and other American Indians in southern Pennsylvania.
The park is a seasonal, day-use area open from mid-April through the end of October. At other times of the year, visitors must park near the main gate and walk into the park.
This finger of land is bounded on three sides by the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River, which empties into Raystown Lake approximately one mile downstream. The unique shape of the park was formed as a result of river meandering. This section of the river exhibits some of the best examples of natural stream meandering in the state.

When you visit the museum you will learn about the historical significance of the automobile, while viewing our many displays, and our one-of-a-kind automobiles in our collection.
Our automobile collection was started in 1920, just 25 years after the first patented combustion engine automobile. It was started as a collection that was made available for public viewing during business hours at Swigart Associates. It was later registered as a separate automobile museum, which is still thriving today.

Isett Heritage Museum is one of the most unique museums in Pennsylvania. The museum is not on a major highway. It can be found about two miles east of Huntingdon Borough, located on Stone Creek Ridge Road. The ridge road has a spectacular aerial view of numerous surrounding mountains and ridges overlooking approximately twenty miles. The museum buildings are nestled on beautiful fields surrounded by numerous flower beds and fruit trees, a perfect setting for Mr. Isett’s dream come true. Mr. Melvin Isett, born in Huntingdon County in 1922, spent his entire lifetime collecting antiques and memorabilia with a dream to open a museum. In 2001, shortly after Mr. Isett’s retirement, his private collection was opened to the public in a renovated barn on the property. In 2004 the museum expanded to include a ten thousand square foot building, and once again in 2008 another ten thousand square foot building was added. The buildings are home to a collection of over forty thousand items from Mr. Isett, his family and donations. After completing your tour, we hope you will take the time to browse through the gift shop.
