great if you walk into town along the waterfront, grab a coffee to walk back.. lobe doing this in the morning, though I cheat and drive down to the waterfront off Audrey Street. the walk is about 30 minutes each way.

I went on the Jetboat across the lake and onto the river. Its a hour trip where you get to see the lake and Wanaka from the other side.. they also stop by the "Wanaka Tree".. great photo not everyone gets!

This is a nice place to see the different types of Lavender. If you have kids, there are different animals in the garden. They do great ice creams and have a good selection of products in the shop.
