The best website for listing walks is the one the North York Moors authority runs - it is www.northyorkmoors.org.uk - it lists loads of different walks/hikes and gives information as to level of difficulty etc.

You can paddleboard here, or climb on the inflatables but if getting wet doesn't appeal you can run or bike round the all terrain lakeside track.

Before I moved to North Yorkshire I didn't get why Betty's was so special , it was just a tea room, right. But actually it is pretty amazing place. There are 4 Betty's in Yorkshire. The family won't franchise or expand out of Yorkshire. The baking is incredible but even better the people who work here are really nice and it is a special place to go and have breakfast, lunch, tea or supper.
