A must place to go in Hanoi. Opening Hours: From 08:30 - 17:30, closed on Mondays . Location: On Nguyen Van Huyen Street in the Cau Giay district of Hanoi about 8km away from the centre of town . How to get there: best to go via taxi to the museum which will take about 20 minutes or alternatively take the number 14 minibus from Dinh Tien Hoang Street (just north of Hoan Kiem Lake) .

It’s also known as Hanoi’s largest indoor market, offering a wide range of goods such as fresh produce, souvenirs, accessories and clothing, as well as electronic and household appliances. Dong Xuan market is at the West end of Hanoi Old quarter, surrounded by Hang Khoai street and Cau Dong street. If you keep walking down Hang Ngang street, you will reach the market after 4 blocks. Open Hour : Daily 6 am to 7 pm.
