Nestled around the corner from Mcleod Bay is the stunning Reotahi Marine Reserve. The most gorgeous and easy track takes you around there along the shore, past many private rocky beaches, and large pohutakawa trees. You will get to a set of stairs, which seem horribly long but it is completely worth the effort. At the top you will have the most magnificent view over the bay, right out to Parua Bay and beyond.

Across the farm land from Urquarts Bay is our favourite beach if all time, Smugglers Bay. There’s something special about this place, only accessible by foot.
Take the kid’s straight over the hill, or take the long route around Bream Head if you fancy a hike. You won’t be disappointed with the views at every corner you turn!
