Breakfast, lunch, and dinner you won't go wrong here. Buffalo Bergen has a great french toast bagel. Peregrine Coffee does a great pour over. Lunch and dinner - Al Volo pasta is great - any pasta and we make it arribiata (spicy). Takorean is the jam - get the kimchi/rice bowl with any protein and Dosas are totally vegan and delicious. And, outdoor space for kids to play. HINT: if you sit at the outside bar, Surburbia, you have to buy drinks from them. It is worth it.

Breakfast and Lunch - a strange location but the best biscuits in the area. I do a Benton's with no aioli. They sell out, so best for early risers (get there before 10am), but call they will tell you.

You have to drive or uber (there is an ample parking lot), but this is a real oasis in the city. Go to the Asian gardens and see the original Capitol Columns in a garden setting. Bring a picnic - no food to buy
