Unesco World Heritage: Unique place that was a former island, abandoned just before the whole area was claimed as the new dutch land with dykes, mills, pumps and manpower. It illustrates the battle against the water which is part of the whole dutch history.

If you like to walk around surrounded by wonderful nature then the Veluwe is where you want to go.
