There are a number of pubs on the high street together with Indian and Chinese restarants and takeaways. The market is open twice weekly on Friday and Saturday 8.30am to 3.30pm and is located on stafford Road.
There is a good second hand bookshop at the top of the high street close to the church which has a massive selection of books and comics on all subjects. There are also a number of charity shops selling souvenirs and a goodselection of second hand goods.
