Food Scene

Not so local secret anymore...our local pub boasts an excellent menu, created by chef James Campbell. Overlooking the Wannon River at the bridge at Cavendish, it's the perfect place for lunch or dinner...but you need to book, especially on weekends!

This is our favourite place to take visitors...aboriginal art site, remote, quiet and the most spectacular views especially at sunset.

Sightseeing

It's a lovely walk, don't forget to include the old cemetery and find the plaques in the streets of Cavendish that describe the history of the town. Behind the ANZAC memorial there is a map of old Cavendish set in stone on the ground...next to the children's playground. And of course there's the local pub, where you can have lunch and a drink and sit outside looking over the river...
