Moonee Beach has a tidal creek that is great for families, young and not so young. Perfect for kayaking at high tide. Fishing and swimming are also popular. You can walk over the footbridge to a track that takes you to the headland or through the creek to get to the surf beach that is very popular for board riding.

Moonee Beach
Moonee Beach has a tidal creek that is great for families, young and not so young. Perfect for kayaking at high tide. Fishing and swimming are also popular. You can walk over the footbridge to a track that takes you to the headland or through the creek to get to the surf beach that is very popular for board riding.
This is such a lovely walk.
Walk 1
Park at the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park and follow the walking path along the creek. The walk takes you all the way to the Coffs Town Centre (3 kms. one way) It is a reasonably easy walk with just a couple of small hills. Along the way you pass the Coffs Harbour Botanical Gardens which is worth a look (coin donation entry)
Walk 2
Park at the Dolphin Marine Conservation and get on the pathway to cross the creek and head to the right on the walking path that will take you to the Surf Club and main beach or continue further on the path to the Park Beach Bowling Club (approx. 2 kms. each way) Flat walk.
Walk 3
Park at the Marina and take a walk around the Harbour on the lovely walking paths where you will find exercise equipment along the way. You can walk around to the quarry and out on to the south wall. (approx. 3 kms. each way)
Walk 4
Park at the Marina near the Yacht Club and walk out on the north wall to Mutton bird Island. Flat until you get to the Island but if you walk the Island it is very steep but has seats to rest along the way if needed. (approx. 2 kms)

Coffs Creek Walkway

Walk 1

The trip to Dorrigo from our Airbnb takes approximately 1hr and 15 minutes. The rainforest is beautiful and its worth a trip to the skywalk.
