The Squires Almshouses, dating to 1795 stand next to the churchyard.
Walthamstow’s oldest secular building. The timber-framed building dates from the 15thC and was carefully restored in 1934 and 2000.Once home to the “Lord of the Manor” it's now a private house.

Combine a walk around the Marshes with a rest in this park, situated over the other side of the River. There is a great view from this hill right across the Marshes towards Walthamstow and beyond.
