A great stop for local ice cream. Don’t miss it! After you finish, take a short walk to the train station and climb the steel bridge over the railroad tracks to a little park with a great view of Staunton from above. Perfect little walk!

I go here often to search for specific items such as a side table, teapots or an enamel dog bowl. Sometimes I go just to meander up and down endless aisles! Check out the art and history then stroll behind the building for a tiny public garden hidden in the center of town. You can also check out the visitors’ center across from the RR Smith building, grab a sandwich at Cranberry’s, and sit in the garden making a plan of what to see or do next!

One of those truly sweet spots with the kindest owners. The perfect place for a healthy cup of tea, coffee, smoothie, and sweets. Spend some time hanging out in a great country store. A throw back to simple times.

Right as you get off of 64 on exit 99, there is a recreated farm house as it might have been when the park was being built. Interesting history. Free.
