In Carbondale - just 20 min down the road. Expect to wait in line on weekends. McHuevos, McGurks hash browns and Smithy 7 are our favs. And - try the seasonal pancakes as a shared item. Also open for lunch.

This treasure survived the Glenwood Canyon fire a few years ago - it’s a miracle it did. The hike takes about 2 hrs. A reservation and permit are required. Make sure to hydrate and wear proper shoes.

About 1 hour south of Glenwood. Great hiking, picture taking and picnicking at the lake. Gall colors are breathtaking. You’re at high altitude - so make sure to hydrate!
