They hold the famous Blueberry Festival every August. This year is from August 12 - 14th. Also the building next to it has so many cute little stores with local crafts etc and food worth stopping by for a look.
If you hungry and wanting a sit down meal, I recommend the Quay Restaurant as I thoroughly enjoyed.

Oh how I love Brigus. Such a cute little town!

If you hungry and wanting a sit down meal, I recommend the Quay Restaurant as I thoroughly enjoyed.
If you have time to go for a drive along the Irish Loop to the "Wilds" Golf Course at Salmonier River. If you like to golf take in a 18 hole and chill in the Club house for some good food.
I loved the Red Velvet dessert so it was worth the drive for me.
