A quiet and calm lagoon, in the middle of the mayan jungle. Great for a calmer day enjoying the sun and fresh waters.
It can get a bit bussy on the weekends so try to go on a weekday.

This hotel also has one of the most beautiful views of the jungle.
Natural reserve where you can find beaches, dunes, cenotes, coral reefs, animals, plants and birds. With a lot of native communities living in the zone. From here you can go to the Muyil ruins and lazy river. Which we also really recommed doing.

If you are renting a car or are interested in going to other places near Tulum you can go to Playa del Carmen. Its about an hour drive from Tulum but you can find a lot of restaurants, shops, beachclubs and many other attractions.

You can snorkel with turtles and fishes. It is near a hotel and you can stay afterwards over some drinks and food. There are people who can guide you which is specially useful if you are going with kids but is a great experience for all ages and not far from Tulum.

The group Xcaret have a lot of parks with different activities, shows, rivers, experiences and many more. I definetly recommend going. My favorite is Xel-ha but Xcaret is really famous for their shows.

Avoid drinking tap water
In Mexico we dont usually drink tap water, try bottled or filtered water instead.
交通アクセス
There is no uber
We dont have Uber or other platforms in Tulum, so we recommend you renting car to be able to travel "long distances" to visit the ruins, cenotes and other places that might not be that close.
Bike is a very common way of transport, and you can usually get to most places but keep in mind that the sun and heat can make it a bit unconfortable.

Snorkeling in front of Tulum Ruins
There are tours that take you on a boat where you can see the Tulum Ruins from the ocean (you can get great pictures from this view) and they usually take you snorkeling very close to the ruins. There you can swim with stingrays, fishes, you can see some coral reefs and sometimes even turtles.
