Food scene
This is a lovely little town just out side the city. It has quaint shops and cafe's. It is also home to the infamous St. Jacob's Farmers Market which is open on Thursdays and Saturdays. Next to the Farmers market you will find the St. Jacob's Outlet mall if you are in the mood for some retail therapy. It's about a 15-20 minute drive from our home. This is a great opportunity to experience the local Mennonite community. You are sure to see horse and buggies and many of the farmers selling their locally made items. Check out the Mennonite Story Museum while you are there.

If you are travelling with children, this will be a big hit. It was a family favourite when our children were young. You are able to drive through like a safari and see the animals up close. There is also a shallow waterpark to cool off. We always enjoyed the many shows as well. Pack a picnic, or eat at the restaurant. It is bound to be a wonderful family time.
