There are some great walks around here, with a handy car park by the lake. The hall is open a couple of days a week in the summer months.

Stratford upon Avon is just 19 miles away. You can visit the birth place of William Shakespeare and also Anne Hathaway’s cottage. Stratford is a beautiful town with some lovely restaurants and boutique shops. There is also a butterfly farm, which children love to visit, and a great park with a pool in the summer and a sand pit.

Stratford upon Avon is just 19 miles away. You can visit the birth place of William Shakespeare and also Anne Hathaway’s cottage. Stratford is a beautiful town with some lovely restaurants and boutique shops. There is also a butterfly farm, which children love to visit, and a great park with a pool in the summer and a sand pit.
Oxford
Royal Leamington Spa is our second closest town. I love the boutique shops and independent restaurants here. There are all the usual supermarkets and chain shops here too.

The British Motor Museum is only 5.4 miles away and is a great family day out. There are interactive exhibits, a play area and even a car that was owned by the Queen!
Blenheim Palace is known for being the family home of Winston Churchill. It is an awe inspiring place, with huge grounds to walk around and a cafe to recharge in. Just down the road in Bladon, you can also visit Churchill’s final resting place.
