Our country was immersed in a very difficult internal war. This museum vindicates the true heroes of that struggle and tells the whole story. It also has rooms that talk about vulnerable populations. It is a very sensitive museum, which you must visit.

The collection of the Central Museum is a representative sample of Peruvian art of all time, from millenary times to the 21st century. In its archeology rooms, traditional popular art and republican painting, both the continuity and the artistic transformations that occurred in different times and regions of our country are reflected.
