If you feel like driving to Kansas City, this little locally owned joint is a small, modest and outrageously delicious place to enjoy vietnamese food. They have the best Pho Bo in the world in my opinion. (i have never been to vietnam, tho). I love the chicken curry.

522 Campbell StIf you feel like driving to Kansas City, this little locally owned joint is a small, modest and outrageously delicious place to enjoy vietnamese food. They have the best Pho Bo in the world in my opinion. (i have never been to vietnam, tho). I love the chicken curry.
This no nonsense, basic restaurant is a little bit of a drive from my place (45 minutes) and is the belle of the hispanic neighborhood where it serves the yummiest chicken ever. You can smell the deliciousness for a mile. Sooooo good that you won't care about anything but another bite.

Another local favorite restaurant with multiple locations. I always get the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies. Very popular around happy hour and tends to get loud in the bar area.

Higher end dining. So fancy and could be formal and is also on the pricey side. Located on the Plaza which is a nice little gem to gander while in the KC area.
