Best Gulf view in Santa Rosa Beach. 50% off entrees and appetizers on the "Specials" menu when you order before 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Also half-price wine specials at lunch. Best known for seafood dishes like shrimp, grouper, and tuna, and their salads like grilled watermelon salad. Everything is freshly cooked and made to order so there might be a longer than normal wait for food -- but it's definitely worth it!

Entertainment & Activities
All the hustle and bustle of a thriving beach community. Fireworks nightly, festivals, lots of shopping, family friendly activities, and great restaurants and bars. The most beautiful spot on the Gulf with its aqua blue water.
Check out The Back Porch restaurant (reviewed above) and Crab Island. Crab Island is a sandbar located right beyond Destin Harbor at Destin Inlet, at the Marler Bridge that connects Destin to Okaloosa Island. It is the only place in the area that you can access both the Gulf and the Bay. Crab Island started to gain in popularity as boaters used the area to moor their boats to catch some rays and wade in the sand bar. Now Crab Island Destin has erupted into a popular social scene where 100s of locals and tourists congregate daily in all types of watercraft! Crab Island has beautiful aqua water that ranges from ankle to knee deep and a restaurant in the middle of the sand bar.

Our favorite place to shop is a small family owned pottery and decor store that has amazing planters, pottery, fountains, metal art, plants, indoor and outdoor decor and authentic talavera items, all at a fraction of the price that you see online or in other stores. It's called Frost's Pottery Garden located at the intersection of Rte 98 and 101-103 36th St, Mexico Beach, FL 32410.
