On the edge of the Stourhead estate, you can walk down to the Stourhead gardens from here, take a map. The car park is free and there is often an air-stream caravan selling good coffee and homemade cakes.

Bruton has a train station, 10 minutes walk from the house. Everything in Bruton is walking distance from the house.
Bruton Bike Hire rent mountain and e-bikes, they also do day trips - book before you visit brutonbikehire.co.uk
There will be a local OS map in the house for you to borrow during your stay.
