So many towns! Note: Massachusetts is not far at all. I'll list a couple of my favorites.
Woodstock, NY is about a 40 minute drive with great shops, restaurants, music and hiking. For some reason, I can't add it to the list right now.

Great food, music, dance, shopping....you'll find it all here.
Wow! Hudson has upscale shops, restaurants, and music venues. Too many great places to list...its a must see.
