Just a great place to eat lunch. They have a bakery that we never skip when we visit. My wife's favorite is the Chocolate Croissant.

We have just been once, but really enjoyed it. The gathering of folks outside is s great indication that it is a popular spot.

Went to this place for the first time on 8/19/22 and it is awesome. They do not take reservations, and suggested we get there prior to 6:30. It is a laid back atmosphere with a great menu. We sat at a table for two on the deck with a tin shed roof above us and open air around. We each ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi Thibodaux and it was great. Started off with their combination roasted oysters. They were great. It is about 20 or so minutes away and you get to see some of Lake Burton during your drive.

We went here for date night and were not disappointed. It is on the pricey side, but worth it for special occasions.

Bull Sluice Rapids were featured in the movie Deliverance. Take 76 East from Clayton and cross the river going into South Carolina. It's a 15-20 minute drive. There is a parking lot, and trails down to the river. Once on the trail, left to beach area or right to rapids. It is fun to watch rafters and kayakers going down. Fun place for a picnic lunch.

There is a parking lot, and trails down to the river. Once on the trail, left to beach area or right to rapids. It is fun to watch rafters and kayakers going down. Fun place for a picnic lunch.
There are good overlooks from this state park as well as a variety of hiking trails. Go down our hill and head further north on 441. Youl will see the signs asking you to turn left around Mountain City to visit the park

Our daughter and granddaughters have both visited this stable. The younger was led around a small ring by my daughter and the older one went with her mom and 2 friends on a ride that included crossing a creek or river. They had a blast.
