Guemes Island ferry is about 40 mins from Clear Lake. This little 5min. ferry ride gives you a taste of the San Juan Islands. You can walk on and in minutes be on a wonderful beach walk. The General store it right at the ferry dock and offers farm to table food with outdoor seating. Great for families.

Anacortes is one of the waterfront towns near Clear Lake. About 45 minutes.
The Anacortes Ferry will take you on a unbelievable trip throughout the San Juan Islands. Our favoritestop is Friday Harbor. Friday Harbor is a waterfront town with lots of view points and things to see. You can walkon the ferry in Anacortes and be in there in about 1 hour. If you're lucky you might see a pod of Orca Whales! Lots of sea life will be seen along the way. You can make reservations on the Washington State Ferry website.
