Folly Beach is the Edge of America! If you are wanting to surf head to the washout. Lifeguards are at the pier or Folly Beach county park ($) during the summer. If you would like to arrive in a timely manner I would recommend leaving our place by 9am, especially on the weekend.

One of our personal favorites. Granted we go there by boat, still fun to access by the end of folly and see! Careful currents don’t play in there- sun bathing or walking only!!!

Beach traffic is pretty bad in the summer. I would leave by or before 9am!!!!
