This is the local pub in Sketty. They do local ales alongside the generic brands. Food is usually available - very cheaply. Its the usual pub food, but is always tasty and well presented.

Rhossili bay was named as Britians first area of outstanding natural beauty and is listed in the top 4 Great British beaches in trip advisor and other agencies.
I wish i could show you a photograph right here. It is stunning, and links to the very famous Worms Head, which you can only walk to during low tide.
Stunning sweeping beach, great for families, and further down as it becomes Llangennech beach you'll find all the surfers. I think there have been surf competitions held here. There is a National Trust car park, quaint tea rooms, a bespoke jewellers, and a pub. What more do you need? :)

A firm favourite with local families, Caswell is a sheltered cove with full amenities and close parking. Get there early to get your spot! The sea is always accessible, there is a fresh water stream that runs down the beach, rock pools and sheltered areas to set up camp for the day.

A 10 - 15 min walk from our house, this is a lovely park to walk or run around, and very famously this is the park of Dylan Thomas' childhood.
It has a kids park, a drop slide and a small zip wire.
It also has an interesting history .. when Kew Gardens in London was being developed, Swansea was a stop off for the trade ships and Cwm Donkin park was used as a trial plantng place for the viability of tropical plants... so it has some interesting foliage!

Interactive experiences, and multiple craft activities. If you're very lucky, you'll be here during their Cider Festivals with tons of quirky live music!
