You do not need to pay for this awesome summer outing. Drive south on Hwy 97, take a left before LaPine at signs to Paulina Lake, take a left at McKay crossing. This is a 2.5 mile, hot, relatively ugly hike. However, you get access to three different waterfalls/ swimming pools that are delightful and fun.

You do not need to pay for this awesome summer outing. Drive south on Hwy 97, take a left before LaPine at signs to Paulina Lake, take a left at McKay crossing. Bring an inflatable and float down the shallow river. Lots of shade trees.
