Lovely village with a nice walk in the woods from Wood Street to Brigstock. There is a Queen Eleanor Cross in the village built in 1290 following an order from King Edward 1 as a funerary monument to mark one of the 12 resting places of the funeral procession as it travelled from Lincoln to Westminster Abbey.

Great open air theatre in the summer and shows in the Orangery in the winter months. In the summer it is majical to take a picnic to eat in the grounds and then walk in to the woods to watch a London class show.
