A fun 50’s style diner with great diner food!
Sandwitches food truck (oliphant dog park) Best poutine period!
Mr Khans food truck located at the beach 6th street north entrance. Middle eastern fare Shawarma, Falafal.

The Jelly and Boston cream donuts are to die for!
Walkerhouse (Southampton) Great patio and food.
Saublemeatsnmore (Walking distance from cottage) local grocer with an
Ice cream counter, they have a variety fresh fish and meats. (The in house honey garlic sausages are to die for)

The unique beauty of the town of Wiarton, Ontario is hard to match. The view from the hill as you enter the town charms the eye, extending for miles down Colpoy’s Bay with islands and bold limestone cliffs in the distance. The Gateway to the Bruce Peninsula, Wiarton was a wilderness until 1866 when the first log shanty was built
Be sure to visit the coral ruins link below. Nice spot and will make for great instagrams;)

The Gateway to the Bruce Peninsula, Wiarton was a wilderness until 1866 when the first log shanty was built

A 20 min walk or 5 min drive from the North Beach Retreat. Enjoy a mini day trip to explore the falls. There is also a kids playground.
Please take note if driving *Paying for parking can be costly here. the parking meter at the lot closest to the falls will only prompt the option to pay for the day which most ppl get duped into paying however you can select to pay hourly only! You will only be given the option to pay for the day at the park entrance via the park clerk, if you don’t plan to spend the who day it’s best to use the other entrance and pay by the hour.
