The quaint little town of Ligonier, IN, which is known for its gorgeous murals, is only a short drive from the cottage, and is home to quite a few food trucks. Ligonier is the home of the Annie Oakley perfumery, the only perfumery in the US. Tours can be scheduled through the Annie Oakley website. During the summer months, Ligonier offers a farmer's market in Pettit Park, and if you are staying in late summer or early fall, be sure to check out their Marshmallow Festival.
