Don’t miss the film, as it gives insight as to how the sculptures are a result of teamwork, almost a choreographed dance with molten glass and 2000 degree F furnaces. Admission included a live glass blowing demonstration at the Morean Arts Center.

Beach

St.Pete offers beautiful beaches! The closest to the house is Spa Beach, only 1.5 miles, it’s right by the new pier. My personal favorite is Ft.Desoto North Beach,which is about a 20min drive.
Our personal favorite beach! You have to pay $5 entrance/parking fee once you get to Ft. Desoto Park, then make a right and go all the way to the end to North beach. A wonderful beach, white sand, shallow water, restrooms and grill cabanas.

Our personal favorite beach! You have to pay $5 entrance/parking fee once you get to Ft. Desoto Park, then make a right and go all the way to the end to North beach. A wonderful beach, white sand, shallow water, restrooms and grill cabanas.
It’s about a 45min drive, but it’s a very nice, white sandy beach. Great beachfront promenade and casual seafood restaurants.
