Golden has a quaint historic downtown with a few restaurants and bars to check out as well as Coors Brewery which you can tour for free. Take a stroll along Clear Creek that runs through town. You can also rent tubes to float it in the late summer. Take a winding drive up Lookout Mountain for some great views of Denver and the Mountains.
