An interesting park with pillars of lava that were formed when a lava flow came through this valley. The lava encircled trees and the quickly drained away. The lava posts had trees inside. The trees have now decayed away. This is an easy, paved hike.

Food Scene
Great food. We suggest that you make reservations. Request the front room, near the bar and towards the street. They often have live music and this permits you to be away from the musicians. 808-965-5600. Good for vegans, too.
