Best place for coffee! They also have a big range of baked goods and some vietnamese food including banh-mi (vietnamese roll), rice paper rolls and pho noodle soup. Also very affordable!

This is up on the north end headland (overlooking Mahon Pool) and is my favourite place for breakfast. It gets very busy especially on weekends so you may need to wait for a table or arrive early.

Accessible from the south end of Maroubra beach, a very scenic walk which takes you around the headlands / cliffs. Excellent photo opportunities, early mornings or late afternoons are best when it’s not too hot. From the start of the walk (very south end of Maroubra Beach) it’s a 3.7km walk one way. From the apartment it’s a 9km return trip to do the full walk.
