Our original artworks and books gathered over many years coupled with natural oak and stone flooring create a very restful and pleasant atmosphere for your stay.....
A very clean, modern and really well fitted out re-modelling of a traditional tenement flat. A good example of a typical Glasgow home but fully modernised. It is light and bright with good open aspects and views due to being top floor and taller than the buildings around. It has a very efficient layout and an excellent kitchen space open plan to the living area. The flat is well equipped with super-fast 150mbps wi-fi, hair dryer, L'Occitane toiletries, simple breakfast items, welcome pack, travel cot, umbrellas etc and a well equipped kitchen. We also have memory foam mattresses, excellent heating and insulation plus we only use ecological cleaning products.
The flat is tucked away on a quiet residential street with open aspects to the south and great local shops and eateries very nearby. The busier parts of the West End are minutes away with the Botanic Gardens and River Kelvin also offering relaxing walks and pleasant pedestrian routes deeper into the city.

    This stylish 1 bedroom apartment is set in a quiet Victorian townhouse, 2 mins from Byres Rd. It is entirely south-facing, has loads of character & easily accommodates 4 people. Way better than a hotel & perfectly located for exploring the West End!
    Set within a Victorian townhouse, this newly renovated one bedroom apartment is perfectly located in the heart of the West End, less than 2 minutes on foot from Byres Road. This vibrant & stylish area boasts a plethora of bars, cafés, restaurants & interesting independent shops. The apartment itself is entirely south-facing & delightfully peaceful as it overlooks the rear garden. With 4 metre tall ceilings, original decorative cornicework & huge period sash windows, the open-plan Living / Dining / Kitchen space is flooded with natural light. All modern conveniences are provided in the fully integrated kitchen. A good quality, very comfortable, Habitat sofa converts to a double bed for additional sleeping space in the living area. Also on this level you will find a luxury modern shower room, and a utility area which houses a washing machine (with dryer). A cast-iron spiral staircase winds up to a lovely bedroom & dressing room, with lots of hanging space & storage. This cosy apartment is perfect for any length of stay in Glasgow & offers a stylish & more interesting alternative to a hotel room!
    The West End of Glasgow is a beautiful, leafy, safe neighbourhood where the University of Glasgow is located. It's a vibrant area with great energy, beautiful buildings & everything is within a very short stroll from the apartment. At the Botanic Gardens, there's always something going on. You can book a sofa at the The Grosvenor Cinema on Ashton Lane (& bring your own booze!) The best Indian food is to be found either at The Wee Curry Shop (also Ashton Lane) or Mother India cafe on Argyle Street. Our favourite haunts for a drink are Tennents Bar (great for real ales) or Oran Mor (converted church with beautiful timber interior) - both are on Byres Road. Ashton Lane offers numerous bars, but the Ubiquitous Chip (upstairs) has an open fire & a roof terrace & is great for people-watching. For live traditional music, head to The Park Bar or The Ben Nevis on Argyle Street. Waitrose & Tesco supermarkets are both found on Byres Road.

    The flat's beautifully refurbished interior combines retro elegance with contemporary comforts and a bit of architectural history! The Victorian building was designed by Glasgow's own Alexander 'Greek' Thomson. Inside, you'll find the perfect home from home. Whether you're here to explore the city, catch up with friends or get down to business, you can enjoy a power shower, a soak in the tub, a big comfy bed, espresso machine, well-stocked kitchen, TV (with streaming device), iPhone dock, digital radio and plenty of cushions and throws. You'll be so comfy here — you won't want to leave!
    Everything has been done to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The interior has been recently refurbished - given a grace and elegance appropriate to this landmark building designed by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson in 1865. But with a touch of retro-styling and quirkiness. The living room is bright and spacious with high ceilings, ornate cornicing, a marble fireplace and large sash windows which let in lots of light. There's plenty of room to relax, eat, cook, watch TV or listen to music. There's a HD TV and DVD player and you'll find a selection of DVDs, books, games and guide books. There's an iPhone dock. And plenty of cushions and throws. So please feel free to get comfy and put your feet up. The flat is centrally heated. It warms up quickly and it's easy to adjust the temperature to suit you. The kitchen has everything you'll need: dishwasher, combined oven/grill/microwave, an induction hob and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. There's plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils so you can use whatever you like and just pop it in the dishwasher. No need to keep washing up. There's a range of herbs, spices, oils etc so if you're planning to cook you should only need to buy main ingredients. There's a range of tea bags and coffee pods for the Nespresso machine to start you off. Help yourself to muesli, porridge and cornflakes. You'll find milk in the fridge when you arrive. The sofa easily converts to a double sofa-bed with feather duvet and pillows stored inside. The shutters can be closed to keep in the warmth and keep out the light. The bedroom has a sturdy kingsize bed with a memory foam mattress topper. Feather duvet and pillows - If you're allergic let me know and we'll replace them. The full-length curtains are thermal-lined and the shutters can be closed too. The bedside lights can be switched on and off with just the touch of a hand. In the tall chest of drawers you'll find a hair-dryer. The wardrobe has plenty of wooden hangers. The bathroom is bright and fresh with a good-sized bath and a powerful shower with constant hot water. There are white fluffy towels. Hand-wash, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. A socket for a shaver or toothbrush. A big mirror. Plenty of light, hooks and places to put your things. There's even a toilet seat that closes on its own. Well almost. You just have to start it off. In the hall there's a full-length mirror, hooks for jackets, plenty of space to kick off your shoes. And a cupboard that houses a washer/dryer, iron, ironing board etc. There's also a drying rack that fits above the bath. In the hall you'll find movement sensitive night-lights to guide you if you need to get up in the night. My apartment is really popular so If you're interested in staying please get in touch as it often gets fully booked. However, please note that my apartment is not designed for young children so I don't accept guests with babies or children under 12.
    With more of a multi-cultural vibe than other areas, Hillhead, home to Glasgow Uni, is popular with students, artists, writers, and musicians. The local shops, coffee houses, bars and restaurants along Great Western Road and Gibson Street reflect this. You'll be a stone's throw from Kelvingrove Gallery, Museum and Park, The Huntarian Museum and Gallery, and not far from the popular Byres Rd and Botanics. And with Kelvinbridge Subway nearby you'll have easy access to the city centre and beyond.

    You’ll love my place because of it's unique location. This garden room is situated right on the River Kelvin. This is your own little oasis in the heart of the bustling and vibrant West End - a private conservatory bedroom with en suite shower room & own front door! A short walk from Glasgow University, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museums and right beside Kelvinbridge Underground. Surrounded by bars, restaurants & shops.
    This was originally our garden room until we realised what a wonderful space it would be for AIRBNB! We have therefore installed a new en suite shower , king size bed, small table and chairs and compact food preparation area which includes a small sink, fridge, microwave and grill (no hob), toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery and glassware. The room has full glass doors which lead onto the riverside garden and BBQ area. (Please note the owners will have some access to the garden during spring / summer but you are very welcome to join us or you can screen off the view of the garden to protect your privacy while keeping the great view of the river!)
    Glasgow's West End is famous for it's vibrant atmosphere and multiculturalism. Within a few minutes walk you will find numerous bars and restaurants, music and arts events, museums, historical buildings, speciality food and wine stores and a huge variety of shops right beside the peace and green of Kelvingrove park, there is something for everyone.

    Glasgow University, Botanical Gardens, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Rennie MacIntosh House, all less than 10 min walk, beautiful parks, river walks and restaurants, cafes etc just outside. Queen Margaret Dr is the Botanical Gardens part of Byres Rd.
    Period Victorian Apartment with two double bedrooms, bay windowed lounge. Edwardian shower and claw foot bath. (Its higher than a modern bath, if you're infirm in any way.) Cable broadband. Above two really good Italian cafes and views of the Botanical Gardens. Kelvin River scenic walk right outside, but only mins walk from all the restaurants, bars and cafes in Glasgow's West End.
    Queen Margaret Drive is the same street as Byres Rd, a friendly little community with a lot of cafes, craft shops and everything from knitting, piercings to bakeries catered for.

    Escape to a private retreat in this bright, inviting flat. The tranquil space features soothing greys contrasted with warm wood tones throughout, an open-plan living space, floor-to-ceiling windows, and chic furnishings right in the heart of Glasgow's West End.
    A beautifully finished apartment that boasts an extremely spacious open plan kitchen and living room. Large bay windows in the living area look directly over Great Western Road which allow you to watch the world go by from the comfort of the apartment. The living area is fully equipped with a 43” SMART TV with an extremely comfy couch, plus a recently purchased high quality sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two people (equivalent to a double bed). The Kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, Kettle and toaster. Each bedroom has its own unique theme. One bedroom is fitted with a King Size Bed and a 32” SMART TV, and the other with a fully functional dressing room table and mirror that will allow guests to get ready in style. All bedsheets and linen are the upmost quality (I take pride in ensuring I give my guests a comfortable sleep!). Furthermore, this apartment has a recently refurbished bathroom that contains a 3 person shower base, heated towel rail and a waterfall style tap – you’ll not be disappointed! Towels are always provided for each guest. The flat also comes with 50MB Fibre broadband connection. If you are looking for a place to work with a fast broadband connection, the breakfast bar located in the living area is the perfect place to do so.
    Location is everything and this flat is in the heart of Glasgow's west end. Located on the buzzing Great Western Road near fantastic coffee shops, restaurants, and the iconic Kelvingrove park. It is a short walk to Glasgow University, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and Botanic Gardens. SEC Hydro is a 5 min taxi away or a 20 min walk. This flat is also situated directly opposite the Kelvinbrige subway station that can get you into the city centre in under 5 mins.

    Botanical Gardens, University, Stand, Hydro, Kelvingrove. Free parking. Rennie MacIntosh Church, Glasgow University, Ashton Lane. Queen Margaret Drive is the Botanical Gardens part of Byres Rd.
    This area is the last outpost of free parking this close to Downtown. Like most all UK cities, the West End bit is the Victorian part, and, as they introduced parks, art galleries museums etc, So that's where most the cafes and the restaurants are too. Glasgow city centre is the usual glass-fronted anodyne rubbish, (does have a LOT of shopping though) but the east end has some really nice Georgian architecture. Access to Loch Lomond is half an hour from the apartment.
    Queen Margaret Drive is a cafes, craft/vintage/second-hand shops, baking, knitting, pal-arounding kind of space. We have a Festival of Owls, we don't actually have any owls, but we do celebrate them. So, that kind of sums us up I think. Daft, but friendly.

The lounge also has tea and coffee making facilities (Nespresso machine, with milk frother) and an iceQ chiller. Microwave and mini hob provided. Continental breakfast is included during your stay. For privacy, the apartment has its own patio door entrance.

    The accommodation is located in Milngavie which is the gateway to The West Highland Way. Milngavie train station has frequent, direct trains to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The area is also home to Mugdock Country Park, the historical Roman Bathhouses and Antonine Wall.

    The apartment is ideally located across from the train Station and minutes from the start of the West Highland Way.
    The quiet neighbourhood of Milngavie is idea for a relaxing time away. On the doorstep is the start of the West Highland Way not to mention numerous other great walks. It’s also a stones throw from the west end by train. Alighting at Hyndland or Partick you’re minutes from the bustling markets and amazing brunch spots. My favourite is Partick Duck Club! In 25 minutes you can be in the City Centre if it’s shopping or a night out that you’re looking for. Milngavie itself has a number of great restaurants as well as 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk if you prefer to eat in.

West Highland Apartment has been thoroughly modernised, while retaining a number of the original features. The interior decor beautifully harmonises the contemporary and traditional, and maximises the historical detail throughout. This apartment is a comfortable, functional, yet truly luxurious place to stay.
    West Highland Apartment is situated on the first floor. You will be welcomed by a traditional Scottish 'Close' gaining access to the front door from two flights of stairs, around 20 in total. The apartment has been refurbished with the traveller in mind, but also being careful to retain some of the original Victorian features. The apartment has a brand new kitchen, including oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, and breakfast bar. There is also a dining table in the bay window for four people to enjoy a home cooked meal. If cooking at home isn't your thing, there are several restaurants within 100 metres for you to enjoy stunning Scottish food, or just a drink. Garvies restaurant is 15 metres from the apartment front door and currently offer any guests at West Highland Apartment 20% off their food bill. The apartment has two double bedrooms offering a pair of single beds in each. The larger master bedroom has European size single beds for the taller person and comes with an en suite bathroom. Bedroom two has two standard single beds and use of the main bathroom. Both bedrooms have mirrored wardrobe space and a vanity unit including a hair dryer.
    Milngavie Town Centre currently boasts twelve places to eat and enjoy a coffee: Costa, Fantoosh, Finsbay, Garvies, Café Alba, to name a few. It has over 120 businesses operating from the centre and its popularity is growing year on year. Milngavie is most recognised for being the start of the West Highland Way, but other walks, including the Clyde Costal Path, also meet in Milngavie.     A freshly decorated upper cottage apartment. 3 guests can be accomodated in 2 rooms. The large room has a king sized bed and the smaller room has a single bed. We have a blow up bed if required. The property is occupied by my brother Craig, who is co host and will welcome you. Craig is a lovely guy and can assist with any info you require, he has a wealth of local knowledge! I live just across the road from the flat and can be contactable during your stay.
    Your own private space with full use of the shared kitchen, bathroom and living area. With exception of the bathroom, the entire flat has been modernised. The bathroom is clean, tidy and fully functioning, with bath and shower facilities, just a bit older fashioned!
    Situated in a lovely quiet neighbourhood just a short stroll from Milngavie town centre and the start of the West Highland Way. A short commute to Glasgow only 25 minutes by train and also easily accessible by bus. Regular train services to Glasgow and also direct train service to Edinburgh. Glasgow airport is a 20 minute taxi ride. Milngavie town centre has lots of lovely coffee shops and eateries. If you wish to escape to the country the moors are a five minute walk from the property with lovely walks to Mugdock Country Park or if your feeling more energetic to the Beech Tree Inn and Glengoyne Distillery.

    At the end of a long journey when all you are looking for is a comfy bed, hot shower and a cup of tea look no further than here. My home is situated on a quiet street. With my spare room being large and airy there is plenty of room to feel at home in and as its situated to the back of the house so its nice and quiet. Fresh towels and linen are supplied. There is WiFi. Small hairdryer available. There is a wardrobe which has a couple of drawers for you to use during your stay. My home is easily accessible by road, rail (Westerton Train Station), & bus (X4, 3, 6a & 16), plenty of on road parking. Also able to get a direct train to Edinburgh from local station. The SECC, Clyde Auditorium, the Hydro, Kings Theatre, Theatre Royal and Pavilion are all easily accessible. 4 train stops from the start of the West Highland Way. Also within walking distance of the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine and ‌Institute of Cancer Sciences. Breakfast supplied consists of cereal, bagels, toast, fruit, yoghurt, jam/marmalade/butter, tea & coffee. Sorry no smoking or pets allowed.

    A 2 bedroom semi detached property which has stairs to the 2 double bedrooms and bathroom, the ground floor has a spacious lounge and off this is the kitchen area which has a washing machine, use charging port switch, cooker, oven, microwave, sports nutritional blender, kettle pots pans and all your requirements from drinking a cuppa to cooking breakfast. The dining room seats 4 guests but also can be extended for another 2 guests if needed with seating on request. A lovely spacious garden front and back with a driveway for you to park your car.
    Please have a most enjoyable relaxing stay with us and I want you to feel at home away from home, however our lovely neighbours must be taken into consideration please.     Bright and comfortable private double room in a traditional Glasgow tenement flat. Free parking, & great bus links to Glasgow West End & the City Centre (Approx. 10 minute bus journey to either). You can also easily walk to the West End in around 20-30 mins through Victoria Park (we do this often with our dog), or via Dumbarton Road. We are also a few minutes walk from Scotstoun Stadium, which is very handy for rugby games and other sporting events.
    Private double room in a traditional Glasgow tenement flat; high ceilings, large room with lots of natural light. There is unlimited super fast fibre broadband WiFi throughout the flat, and you have a TV viewing device which gives you access to various apps such as Netflix attached to the TV in your room. Plenty of storage space, a drop down writing/eating/laptop surface - a foldable bed-tray for eating or using a laptop is also available. Shared kitchen, and shared bathroom - all utensils for cooking, and all bathroom necessities are provided. Laundry facilities are available. We have a dining table in our lounge which you can use for breakfast, but please let us know if you would like to use it for an evening meal. We will be out most days, and will be using the lounge in the evenings, we are happy to socialise with guests, but please understand that we work full-time and need some sanctuary :)
    We have excellent access to green space (Victoria Park, Nature Walk, cycle network route), and are close to many areas of natural beauty - we love to visit Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, which is roughly 30-35 mins drive away, but trains and buses do run to Balloch station if you don't have a car, this station is in the National Park. The transport links near us are fantastic, & there are plenty of shops/cafe's etc nearby, and a few restaurants and bars. The area is generally quiet, but has easy access to areas with more nightlife either by bus or taxi, both of which are very reasonably priced.

    This lovely, spacious appartment is just a two minute walk from Hyndland Train Station. Eight minutes on the train and you are in the city centre. A ten minute walk and you are in the heart of Glasgow's Westend where you'll find lots of bars, restaurants, shops and museums and Glasgow University. Five minutes on the train and you're at a gig at the Hydro. A taxi to Glasgow Airport will take you around 15 mins and cost about £10-£15.

    My apartment is on first floor, front door, very quiet neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk to Westerton train station, two local shops in 3 minutes walk, parking space. Just 15 min to city centre of Glasgow by train or by taxi, 7 min to West End: transport museum, Kelvingrow museum, university, restaurants. Incredible walk along the canal until to Botanic garden, path for cycling and running. From Westerton you have the access to Edinburgh 90 min on the train and opposite to Helensburgh and Balloch.
    My place has a living room, separate kitchen with everything you need: electric dryer, washing machine, electric hub and electric oven, central heating and one bathroom with a bath, front door and a small garden, driving space for parking. For guest there is a small bedroom with sofa bed and living room with sofa bed. I can give a space for 3-4 people if needed. Fast internet, TV, iron and iron desk. In the kitchen there is a big choice of coffee (instant, real and express coffee and choice of teas)
    Knightswood area (Glasgow) is very quiet and there are two local shops unless you are open for a 15 min walk to bigger shops like Aldi or M&S, the nearest costa coffee is in Anniesland, it is 203 in on the train. There is 2 min walk to a lovely walk along the canal. It is very nice place to rest after all day work or tourist exploring. There are take away restaurant and if you like to sit in, it is just 2-3 stops by train to get to West end for the lovely meal.

    Strathblane is situated at the foot of the campsie hills, There is a bus service to Glasgow and Stirling. Milingavie is a 10 min drive away which has a train service to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Loup of Fintry, The loch lomand National Park and the Trossachs are all a short drive away.The village has a pub and a hotel both serving meals Its a great place to be based as there are plenty country walks , Mugdock country park. Loch Ardinning John Muir way. falconry centre all walking distance.
    A self contained flat within our family home, it has its own front door entrance and is private from our house. The flat is bright and spacious with its own garden area to sit. The house is situated in the village, walking distance to the shop and the pubs.
    There is a bus service to Glasgow and Stirling. Milingavie is a 10 min drive away which has a train service to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

    My place is in a quiet suburban street just off Great Western Rd. It's very close to public transport to Glasgow's West End (about 10-15 minutes by bus 6A) and the City Centre (about 25 minutes). Anniesland railway station is about a 12-minute walk away. We're also very close to two supermarkets. There's a garden and plenty of parking space in the street. We provide a simple self-serve continental breakfast of fruit juice, muesli, toast and tea or coffee.
    The room is freshly decorated and has plenty of cupboard space. Bedlinen is 100% cotton and there's a dual-control electric blanket for those cold winter nights.

    This is a comfy double room in our home which less than 10 mins walk from the train station and bus routes and just 5 mins walk from the beginning of the West Highland Way, shops, cafes and restaurants making what we hope will be an ideal stop over for visitors embarking on the WHW or on business. As well as the hostess, there is a large and very chilled dog here and we look forward to welcoming a diversity of visitors, however sorry we are unable to accept bookings from single men at this time.
    The location is quiet and relatively private as there is no through traffic and no properties overlooking. The house is a maisonette over 2 levels with the guest room being on the ground floor and bathroom being upstairs. The living room is large and bright and is semi open plan to the galley style kitchen where guests are welcome to help themselves to tea, coffee and drinking water at any time. (continental breakfast provided). Off the living room there is a small south facing balcony which guests are welcome to use. The guest room is freshly decorated with a wooden floor and all the bedding and towels are new and of high quality (duvet and pillows are hypo allergenic). Drawer space can be made available on request and there are wall mounted hooks with hangers available. Bicycles are welcome and can be stored securely in the garage which is below the house. The bathroom is small but fresh and as well as necessary facilities has bath with overhead electric shower. Hot water is always available via combi boiler.
    We are 5 minutes walk from the start of the West Highland Way and beautiful moorland walks/cycles are adjacent to the house with walks around Milngavie Reservoir and Mugdock Country Park also close by so this is a perfect location for anyone who loves the outdoors and with our proximity to all public transport routes, equally so for anyone seeking an easy commute to the centre or west end of Glasgow.

    'The Nevis' is a beautiful Victorian apartment located in the heart of Milngavie Town Centre, 50 metres from the start of the epic West Highland Way. It is one of two luxury apartments. West Highland Apartments have been thoroughly modernised, while retaining a number of the original features. The interior decor beautifully harmonises the contemporary and traditional, and maximises the historical detail throughout. This apartment is a comfortable, functional, yet truly luxurious place to stay.
    'The Nevis'' is situated on the first floor. You will be welcomed by a traditional Scottish 'Close' gaining access to the front door from two flights of stairs, around 20 in total. The apartment has been refurbished with the traveller in mind, but also being careful to retain some of the original Victorian features. The apartment has a traditional galley kitchen, including oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine and fridge. There is also a dining table in the bay window for four people to enjoy a home cooked meal. If cooking at home isn't your thing, there are several restaurants within 100 metres for you to enjoy stunning Scottish food, or just a drink. Garvies restaurant is 15 metres from the apartment front door and currently offer any guests at West Highland Apartment 20% off their food bill. The apartment has two double bedrooms offering a pair of single beds in bedroom 2 and a large super king size double in the master bedroom. Both bedrooms have wardrobe space and a hair dryer.
    Milngavie Town Centre currently boasts twelve places to eat and enjoy a coffee: Costa, Fantoosh, Finsbay, Garvies, Café Alba, to name a few. It has over 120 businesses operating from the centre and its popularity is growing year on year. Milngavie is most recognised for being the start of the West Highland Way, but other walks, including the Clyde Costal Path, also meet in Milngavie. Throughout the year many events take place in the town including the Highland Games, Cycling Events, Car Events, Milngavie Folk Club, so you will have plenty to choose from on your visit. Don’t forget the stunning Mugdock Country Park or Waterworks for a stroll and a coffee.
