We rented the Cabin in Disguise to attend a family wedding in the area and we soon learned that when you stay in Mendota, you become everyone’s family!!! The house is absolutely fantastic and you shouldn’t hesitate to rent it for any event you have in the area. It’s clean and pristine, it has great space with three bedrooms plus two bathrooms, and all of the outdoor space to also enjoy. Vickie has thought of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable, from a selection of coffees and teas, to an assortment of things you may have forgotten but might need in the bathroom. Many great touches that made our stay perfect. One night we lost power due to a downed line. Vickie came to us from town with coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and cinnamon rolls and an offer to get ready for the wedding at her house if the power wasn’t restored in time that day. I’m going to say this is my definition of Southern Hospitality!!! We would most definitely stay here again with Vickie and Carson.

What a wonderful property! We came to town with our family and our cocker spaniel to hike the Channels and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to lay down our heads each night. Janice has thought of every single little detail and we wanted for nothing our entire stay. Situated in a quiet, upscale neighborhood, the condo was stylish and super comfortable and immaculately clean. Plus, it has such a beautiful view. I drank my morning coffee and experienced the sunrise from the living room couch (it was still quite cold outside or I would have been out on the deck). Renting an Airbnb that is pet friendly can sometimes be a gamble, but Janice has perfected the process. The guidelines are in place to keep everything clean and beautiful for guests to come and we found them to be perfectly reasonable and easy to follow. We can’t recommend The Oasis any more enthusiastically. It was a 5-star experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if we are ever in these parts again.

Great location on Main Street in Abingdon, you can walk to a number of cafes and restaurants as well as local shops! Quiet residential location! We would recommend this place to everyone! 5 stars all around. Thank you, Mike & Susan

I had a nice stay on King Street! I don't drive so the location was perfect with many options for food, shopping, and all of Main Street just around the corner. The home itself is quite nice and has everything one would need. I am recommending a deeper clean to the host since it's a ground floor home that can let some bugs/spiders and dust in, but that sort of thing is to be expected in such an area. I found the bed to be very comfortable and the bedroom was sufficiently quiet for this light sleeper! The bathroom was a bit challenging for me because there wasn't enough flat space for hair products etc. The shower is an open European style with glass screen, which have always been a challenge for me (wet floors, cold air), but no big deal for a short stay. Overall I was happy and felt at home after a day, and Mark was a good host. Pro-tip: There are outlets under the kitchen island! Took me a couple of days to notice them and it was a game-changer for charging convenience!
