Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

The main bedroom features a queen bed in an open-concept layout connected to the living space. The upstairs loft offers two twin mattresses, perfect for extra guests. A spacious kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, salt/pepper, a dishwasher, and fridge — everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay.

The Olde Springhouse is our cozy cottage just 1 block off Main str and a few more from the Virginia Creeper Trail-Head. The Trail is open 17 from Abingdon to Damascus! This gem is at the epicenter of shops, restaurants and nightlife! Enjoy all our town offers within walking distance- The Barter Theatre, The Creeper Trail, The Tavern, Jack's 128 Pecan, Foresta, Summers Rooftop/Cellar, Rain, The Girl & The Raven, SweetBay Brewery, and much, much more- and it was literally built over a spring!

Mountaintop A-Frame cabin on Homestead

Located on our 35 Acre Educational Homestead in Rural SW Virginia. Sunrise & sunset views overlooking the Mountains. Elevation is approx 2385 ft. Our Glamping A-Frame is a dry, primitive cabin with power. We provide drinking water, electric burner, portable heater & AC, and mini-fridge. Tucked into a quiet, wooded hillside, Hilltop Retreat is a peaceful private cottage designed for rest, focus, and comfort. Set on over six secluded acres, the home offers exceptional quiet and privacy while remaining just five minutes from downtown Abingdon. With fiber internet, it’s well suited for remote work or extended stays. Note: the steep gravel driveway requires a 4×4 vehicle.
