J's Home Away...a gathering place

J's has two bedrooms...1 with a queen size bed...and a pack and play with mattress is provided for babies...also a stroller, and high chair available for your use. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and 3 qtr size bed...and a comfy 4" foam pad on builtin bench .. big enough for a child. The living rooms have long couch, love seat, chaise lounge chair and ottoman, hideabed couch, 2 tables and plenty of chairs. We also provide extra plastic tables to set up for your party needs. The fully furnished kitchen boasts 2 refrigerators, a freezer to store your game until your home trip, 4 burner stove with good oven, crockpot, faberware grill, and a stand mixer for your use..and plenty of dishes and silverware. A game cleaning station is located just outback of the kitchen door. There is a Weber grill outside kitchen door, or if you prefer a portable gas grill will be provided. Amenities are provided in the large unique bathroom...wonderful hot rain shower included in the tub. The second bathroom boasts an antique clawfoot soaker tub with rain shower and handheld wand...enjoy!!

Quiet area with a lot of area around the property to park vehicles or boats. 5 acres around the house if your pets need to stretch their legs. Located 8 miles from wilson lake if you enjoy boating, swimming , fishing, or just enjoy being around the lake. Nice local cafe, and service station with a small grocery area. Laundromat a block away. Local liquor store and a theater. If your into art there are a couple art attractions in town also the garden of eden. Firepit area coming this spring!

This home sits on a corner lot- adorned by brick streets. The house is an older home that has been just recently graced with some modern touches. It’s not a perfect home- it is our work in progress- but it is clean and cozy. Tall ceilings with room darkening curtains and ceiling fans in each room. Located on a corner lot- only about 5 minutes off of interstate I-70, but within walking distance to the grocery store, USA Express Convenience Store or Waudby's Bar and Grill or Espresso Etc.

Welcome to your cozy stay in Russell, Kansas. This house was built in 1976 by Jack and Elaine Holmes . It features a garage to park you car in during the cold Kansas winter. Often you could find Elaine baking a pies/bierocks in her large Kitchen . Great for family get togethers, couples. and jut traveling through. This residence is handicap friendly with a ramp into the residence and one floor. It features a large fenced in back yard and a attached porch. The sunsets are amazing.

This is a private 3 bedroom, sofa bed, 1 bath home all to yourselves, with a spacious yard and a separate fenced in area for your furr babies. The bathroom is set between the two middle bedrooms (Jack-n-Jill style). This is an older home and far from perfect, so it has some quirks and improvements are on the way but it does have all the creature comforts. A park across the street is super convenient for the kids to go burn off some energy.

The Port

Welcome to The Port! The house is newly renovated and ready to host your family gathering, hunting trip, girls’ weekend or peaceful retreat. You can explore parts of the Saline River to search for fossils, snag a catfish, or just relax on the sandbar. Our property is 20 minutes from Gorham, 30 minutes from Russell, and 40 minutes from Hays.
