Coopers Rock Retreat

Industrial farmhouse studio apartment nestled in the hills of West Virginia. Located just 15 minutes to downtown Morgantown and only 5 short minutes away from Coopers Rock State Forest. Spectacular landscape views from dusk to dawn and breathtaking star gazing on clear nights. Guests have their own private entrance to come and go as they please, a full kitchenette to make home cooked meals while on the road, large bathroom with walk-in shower, queen size bed, and an extra long single futon.

Nestled in the holler of Leadmine, WV is our hut. So close to Thomas, WV with their streets of shopping; Davis, WV with Blackwater Falls and restaurants; Canaan is not much further up the road. And the endless trails to ride your buggies!!

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.

Boulder Ridge Cabin, close to Deep Creek, Maryland

Boulder Ridge Cabin is surrounded by woods, but within 15 minutes of Deep Creek Lake, swimming, boating, hiking, shopping, restaurants, Wisp Resort with skiing, snowboarding, mountain coaster, whitewater rafting at Adventure Sports Center International, rock climbing, hiking. Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park are about 15 minutes drive. Piney Mountain State Forest is within walking distance. Mountain biking and fishing are also close by.

Dandy Flats - The Nonchalant

Located in a historic building on the main drag and adorned with 135-year old hardwood floors, original woodwork, local art, huge rain shower, and forest views - this tastefully styled flat feels like being transported to a 19th century boarding house. Wintertime readiness: When we have snow, 4-wheel or All-wheel drive will be best. Watch the weather. Un plug at Tree House. The cabin now has Wi Fi. There is also a DVD player w/ DVDs. A 15 minute drive takes you to Thomas, WV for food and art and music. Five more minutes and you are in Davis for Blackwater Falls State Park. A few more miles down the road find two alpine ski areas and White Grass Ski Touring Center.
