Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

This modern, unique log house was completed in 2020 as a home for a family of five. The living room's high ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows make the living room very bright. The northern lights have also been admired from the sofa in the living room. Natural materials guarantee that it is good to breathe and be in the house. The location is optimal, just over 5 minutes from the center and 15 minutes from the airport/ Santa's village. Getting there by public transport is also possible.

Die Wohnung ist 12 Fahrminuten vom Flughafen und 7 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Im Sommer kannst Du Dich mit einem Sprung im Fluss Kemijoki erfrischen. Ein Golfplatz ist in der Nähe. Im Winter sind Langlaufloipe und Abfahrpiste nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt. Die Aussensauna direkt am Fluss kann gegen eine Gebuehr genutzt werden.

Beautiful views, traditional sauna experience, and sitting by the bonfire is included in the price. Good spot to see the northern lights. Summertime is also full of activities, rowning around an island, fishing (lots of pike), berries, nightless nights etc. We are located 25 km from the center of Rovaniemi, in the most amazing spot you can find in the area.
