Mingara Park cottage has been lovingly restored to provide a snug & cosy getaway. Sit and enjoy the beautiful countryside & sunsets, curl up and read by the fire place, stroll through the farm and meet our friendly goats and miniature cattle. The cottage is ideal for a week working from your country office, a weekend away for two or to share with family and friends. The kitchen has all you need to cook up a storm but if you prefer the outdoors, light the fire pit and sit out under the stars.

The Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 is a huge (9 metre) & has been rejuvenated. Modern but with a fab 70’s atmosphere. It sits under a huge shed with carport, deck & overlooks farmland & bush. It is 50 metres from our old house. Daylesford is 7 minutes away with excellent cafes, restaurants, shops & well-being indulgences. Wineries & galleries are plentiful within a small radius. The “Swiss Mountain Hotel”, our local, has good food, a nice atmosphere & is only 5 minutes to the west in Blampied.

Rosie’s cottage is an ideal getaway. You can choose to be busy bike riding or sightseeing up Mt Buninyong. Set in an idyllic bush setting there are also opportunities to enjoy leisurely bush walks, a bike ride or a stroll to the local coffee shops. Only a 5 minute drive to Buninyong or a 15 minute drive to Ballarat, events and attractions can be easily accessed. The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.

Our mud brick home, is surrounded by eucalyptus trees and is bordering on the Enfield State Forest. The 3 bedroom home is an ideal quiet and peaceful escape from urban life, featuring a wood heater, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry with a washing machine. Kangaroos often visit our backyard to feed on the grass. Lots of native birds can be spotted. We had a Tawny Frogmouth nest near the house and even a koala visit, recently.
